Collection of planning documentation of the Institute of Art History of the CAS
The collection of plans consists of a body of historical maps and plans from the 17-20th centuries; most items date back to the late 18th century and the 19th century. The collection was created as a body of iconographic materials documenting the original siting and appearance of urban systems, monuments, their interiors, movables and valuable details for registration and compilation purposes in the context of art historical topographies. Although mainly Czech locations are represented, the collection also features Moravian, Austrian (or rather Hungarian) locations to a small extent. There are currently 9,822 items in the database.o
