J. P. Cerroni: Scriptores Regni Bohemiae
The database provides access to a Latin dictionary of writers of the Kingdom of Bohemia, Scriptores Regni Bohemiae, compiled by a Moravian collector and historian of the Age of Enlightenment, Johann Peter Cerroni. The dictionary is written and published in Latin, with a parallel translation into Czech. The online version of the dictionary brings dictionary entries which contain, in addition to the name of the scholar (and its variants), also Latin and Czech biographies, lists of all manuscripts and printed works known in Cerroni’s time, a period list of literature on the topic, and numerous substantive and text-critical comments of the editors.
