The aim of the project is the further development of the database of Czech historical bibliography, available on-line, as a continuous and retrospective bibliography (Bibliography of the History of the Czech Lands). Integration of the Bibliography of the History of the Czech Lands into the system of national historical bibliographies of Europe within the framework of the international projects European Historical Bibliographies (Berlin-Brandenburgische Akademie der Wissenschaften) and Literaturdokumentation zur Geschichte Ostmitteleuropas (Herder-Institut Marburg) is another important task. The Bibliography of the History of the Czech Lands has been classified as a priority project in the social and humanitarian sciences in the Roadmap of Large Infrastructures for Research, Experimental Development and Innovation of the Czech Republic.
