UniQ is a specialised research database developed by the Institute of Philosophy of the Czech Academy of Sciences. It focuses on the medieval debate on universals at the University of Prague between 1348 and 1500. The database brings together and interlinks information on medieval philosophical texts, their authors, manuscripts, and related bibliographic sources. It serves as a research tool for the study of medieval philosophy and university intellectual history and supports the analysis of relationships between texts, authors, and manuscript transmission.

The database provides two main tools: Manuscripts and Universals. While Manuscripts offers a catalogue of manuscripts, Universals contains a catalogue of texts on universals preserved in those manuscripts. Each record includes essential bibliographic information, authorship, dating, links to digital editions where available, manuscript witnesses, references, and additional metadata. Both tools support advanced searching and data sorting, employ Linked Open Data principles, and connect records to authority resources such as Wikidata, GND (Gemeinsame Normdatei), and GRID (Global Research Identifier Database). Future developments include map-based visualisation of manuscript locations, metadata export in TEI P5 XML, and integration with the Open Archives Initiative.
